What Is Slutrock?

Slutrock is a genre of rock invented by Shere Khan, a Finnish band from Helsinki. It fuses hedonistic hard rock with emotionally charged metalcore — loud, sexual, cathartic, and unapologetic.

Slutrock breaks hearts, smashes stereotypes, and refuses to ask permission. It is rock with the volume of metalcore and the appetite of hard rock — hooks you can scream, riffs you can bleed to.

It was born in Helsinki in late 2023, when Shere Khan stopped waiting for a scene to belong to and named their own. Slutrock is not a costume; it is a dare.
